Purchase the product and install the system about a week ago for our bath. With 4 people in the house we all wanted to set a profile up. The old app was able to do this we updated to the new app and no option to set user up. We wasn’t happy with the 12min run time either. Feel we was misinformed with the product. Now the app is worse.

The application is shockingly bad! How can you release anything like that to the public! ShowerMe stopped working for me some time ago, so for few weeks I am using new Aqualisa app. I have my profile saved for bath, 39C and eco flow. Every time I was turning it on in past, it was using the right output and temp, but was always misbehaving flow level wise and I always had to correct it later. Today however app completely misbehaved and turned on shower head instead of bath, flooding my whole bathroom. Other people were also reporting that app does whatever it wants. App using wrong output happened for me 1st time and it happens shower head was turned to the side and I was not in bathroom as was waiting for my bath to fill. Again, shockingly bad app. Have zero trust to it. Or better, don’t use it!

Since update I need to login but it states that my account is locked. Terrible app

Experience with my Optic Q shower over nearly 4 yrs has been similar to nick-edw. Operation via the app, initially ShowerMe then Aqualisa, has never been consistent. In particular, profile settings which worked well for over 20 years on the Ilux shower we had before. The app stopped working altogether on 11 Nov 2025, the only value of the app now being to record that event. I am also being told this is a server problem affecting users with pink valve controllers which engineers are said to be working on to fix. Its now 9 February and still no change after 3 months, nor any communication on how app functions could be restored. The shower works fine manually, I just wish Aqualisa would provide support for the smart functions sold as a feature of this shower.
