Did a lot of research on which shower to buy, heard good things about the app.However the app just does what it likes:- set the shower temperature to 45, turn it on - warming up. Lock the phone, jump in the shower and it decides to go back to 39 and cold shower- tried leaving the app open, jumps to 39 after 30 seconds- sometimes profiles are visible in the app, sometimes they’re not- randomly logs you out of the app, sends 2FA to one of our numbers because we all need to be logged in to the same account- sometimes you can divert, change temperature or flow; sometimes you can’t - it seems the app just locks up and only the power button works- sometimes you open the app and it says the shower is on when it isn’t, no worries just press the on button and the app will say it’s turning off but the shower turns onReally not happy with such a basic shower app that works <50% of the time when we paid so much for the shower

The application is shockingly bad! How can you release anything like that to the public! ShowerMe stopped working for me some time ago, so for few weeks I am using new Aqualisa app. I have my profile saved for bath, 39C and eco flow. Every time I was turning it on in past, it was using the right output and temp, but was always misbehaving flow level wise and I always had to correct it later. Today however app completely misbehaved and turned on shower head instead of bath, flooding my whole bathroom. Other people were also reporting that app does whatever it wants. App using wrong output happened for me 1st time and it happens shower head was turned to the side and I was not in bathroom as was waiting for my bath to fill. Again, shockingly bad app. Have zero trust to it. Or better, don’t use it!

I hate writing negative reviews but v2.0 of this app is not very customer friendly. Connection of the shower itself to the app has clearly not been developed with end users I.e. actual customers. The app allows just two minutes to switch the pump off, switch it back on, go to the bathroom where the shower is, place that in the pairing mode, find the Aqualisa wifi reference, insert that into the app and then my 2 minutes runs out…So I’ve never got any further in the installation than this but reading other reviews it does not appear that even after completing this process that the app has very limited functionality. So, after awaiting this revised version to be made available the customer experience is still very poor.

This is a huge improvement over the previous app in that this one will actually connect to their servers and allow the shower to be controlled, however there are still a few issues:1. If you use a voice assistant to start the shower it always starts in the default Eco profile. And switches back to it if you try changing it from the app.2. You can’t delete or edit the eco profile.3. The logging of usage data doesn’t work unless the phone is used to start AND stop the shower and the phone doesn’t go to sleep.4. The app doesn’t run in the background. If you start the shower with the app when you finish and unlock your phone the app has stopped at the time the phone went to sleep and in my case still says “warming up” and still thinks the shower is running after you turned it off on the control panel.5. Assuming they can fix point 4 it would be good if the app would notify you that the shower has reached temperature with a push notification.
