Classic FM 12+

Until release 116.3 this was a great app. Then came the “improvements”, releases 117 and 118. Now it does not show what is being played. It shows what you have missed instead. Also Up Next is blank. To add insult to injury there is no DAB+ in my area, or many others. OK, other ways to listen but not when I am away from home. Getting to be like BT making changes without thinking them through.

No changes made since posting the above a few hours ago. Working now as it used to a month or so ago. Wonders of technology.

I have listened to this radio station from the bird song test up to date. It has brought hours of pleasure and helped me on the nights I was unable to sleep.
There are so many different presenter that there must be someone for everyone. My only criticism is the repetitive adverts. One realises that revenue must be raised but it’s the constant repeating of the same few adverts many times every show. Variety is the spice of life and I’m sure I’m not the only one who swaps to another add free classical station.
I enjoy the variety of composers and the balance that is achieved. Please sort out the advertising.

Excellent app and a real life-saver here in the Scottish Highlands where there is no DAB or FM away from the major cities.

I use the app when I am driving and 3G/4G coverage is pretty good. However, when I do go through a patch where there is no coverage, the app reverts to ‘pause’ mode, requiring me to hit the ‘play’ button to resume listening once back in signal area. Would it be possible to tweak the app so that playback resumes automatically once signal has been restored? Many thanks.
