App not working well since ios11 update!

Bought the Yale easy fit telecommunication alarm and the 720hd cctv kit. Went to download the app so I can see and use/set alarm etc but wouldn’t download. Rang Yale. Issue with updating to ios11. Once updated it worked fine. However, the ability to use/set alarm via app can’t do as yet again the app needs updating as it worked fine before on ios10. Rang up Yale. Was told about 3 weeks before this will be done and still nothing. Very disappointed. Still got to wait til it snows?? Had everything 2 months and works fine but one of the selling points to me was the ability to use the app to view cctv and set check alarm whilst out. A little frustrating to say the least.
Finally the apps been updated. It works and allows me to arm/disarm the alarm now and again. Very intermittent. Very frustrating and getting fed up. Wish I hadn’t bought Yale as doesn’t do what Yale say it can do or there’s loads of teething issues!! Also when I did work, unable to know if alarm is armed or disarmed. Should be a message saying this instead of just saying ‘saving’. Saving what?? I know what I want to do but doesn’t do it all the time!!! Needs sorting out ASAP once and for all. Having regrets in getting yale as since I got app and the alarm and cctv so inconsistent. One min it works next it doesn’t and it’s always the time you need it to work/disarm it doesn’t!!!!

No phone notifications or motion detection lines on playback

Cameras work, self installed pretty straight forward to use. However, phone app is disappointing. I can view perfectly via app when out, but if you have cameras that require this app and not the new app. You cannot get push phone notifications to show when someone comes in range on cameras. Playback option on app does not show the red lines for when motion is detected. So you would have no idea if some entered property/area via app. Contacted support and quite rude.

Great...when you know how to set it up!

Firstly...do not use the router gateways in set up!...they are used by Microsoft programs that will crash the Yale box...even Yale do not know this...must be stupid I guess!
Secondly..if you use an ip provider that does not give a static ip address you’re in big trouble..you will never be able to to watch remotely unless you have a dns server and another program reporting to the router what port the Yale box is using..took me ages to work out and a free box from Yale as they didn’t know the conflict in their set up regarding ports to open!

Brilliant bit of kit when you know what to do!..but be warned..can be a ball ache unless you have a bit of knowledge using port forwarding.
