This is very useful for someone like me who has a lot of games installed at any one time since I like to switch between them frequently and traveling means I can’t always offload and redownload them. The main thing I wish it had was a default sorting option for my library. Right now, it simply shows all games that I’ve ever connected to my Game Center, but I’d rather it only show the ones I currently have installed. I know that I can manually set it to do so, but I’d like if I could make that the default sorting option. If this feature was added, the app would be perfect for me.

Let me start off by saying there are definitely benefits to this app/platform. It basically brings Game Center from out of the Settings app which is good. Now I can check achievements and such easily, cool. The experience on MacOS might be better considering it apparently brings all games from all platforms into one library but I have no experience with that. What I do know, is that the mobile experience is awful. Want to use the Games app for what you consider full quality games like indies or triple A games that get ported over from PC/Console? Too bad, you’ll also have to put up with Angry Birds and CoD Mobile showing up. Filters have 2-3 options which achieves nothing. You can see currently downloaded games (good, but very broad), Apple Arcade games (good), and controller supported games (good, but very broad). Well if i have Sniper Elite 4 and some mobile slop that I downloaded from an ad, I’m forced to see both. No editing what shows up in the app itself. The explore or exposure page just shows the mobile slop thats featured in the regular app store instead of focusing on games that offer complete console or pc like experiences. I don’t even see the point of this app for mobile unless you just really love competing against your friends in candy crush or those asset flip slop games that are filled with IAP and ads.

Please consider enhancing your system to allow for gaming controller connectivity. We have multiple systems on the market with compatibility between devices and platforms soaring to new heights. With phone connected controllers such as backbone we should be able to use it while playing our apple games as well as cross platform and remote play games on Playstation or Xbox.

Game center has so much potential but it has practically thrown it all away so quickly. First, your game hub is useless I don’t want to open an app just to play games if you play a game lots just have it on your homescreen, it’s faster and easier. Secondly, why cant I hide game overlay? Its the MOST useless feature ever, it gives no benefits to most things and also I DO NOT WANT TO SEE AN ICON ON MY SCREEN! Now it doesn’t seem like a problem but it has risen some issues, games that have their menus in the corner are affected since the icon takes up so much space and clicking on it brings up game overlay. Now apple please REMOVE THIS GARBAGE AND CAN YOU FOR ONCE MAKE A GOOD DECISION?? BECAUSE I NEVER SEE YOU ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE!
