Ratings and Reviews
It's convenient, but there are some warts
With the closure of the dining rooms, the app has been a great improvement over waiting in the drive-thru. My biggest complaint is that the function to recall a previous order never works. It always says the merchant has changed the menu, and I have to re-enter the whole order. A smaller gripe is that the interface for choosing options is a bit unintuitive - it took some getting used to.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
I am very frustrated with this new app, because it took away my favorite feature, which was the ability to pay through the app! It also has a lot of bugs now! The whole point of having an app that you can pre-order from is so that if you are running around, you don’t have to sit at the restaurant and wait for your food to be ready. This app is absolutely terrible because it does not go to the store now. ever since this update and new app, I have ordered three times through the app, and when I got to the store, the food was not ready because it didn’t get sent to the kitchen! I also do not like the fact that I cannot choose specific items to use for my reward points like I could before. Maybe I don’t want the selections that you are giving me Burgerville, you messed up with this one. You will more than likely be losing a customer as a result…. Oh, and on a sidenote. You should probably tell your supervisors and managers not to tell customers that they don’t use the app because they don’t like it either. If you own employees don’t have faith in it, how can you expect your customers to?!
Still some problems with ordering some items
I was pretty excited to see there was an option to order ahead and get rewards on the app, especially in time for pumpkin shake season. However there is a glitch in the app that makes it impossible to order any shake. Whenever I select a shake and go to add it to the cart it says “invalid item.” Maybe that’s because you can’t choose a size of shake on the app menu. Since that’s one of the things I would almost always get to order ahead I don’t use the app and am not building up rewards points. It seems to work great for other items. I hope they get that glitch fixed soon!
