This app works great to check only one person in, but you should be able to check more than one person in at a time. You also should be able to check a resident out with the app . It’s a very minimal app.

I love that I can sign in relatively quickly when coming to see my family in assisted living. However, I dislike that I can’t edit my profile to remove a facility I no longer visit, and I also dislike that there is a red notification dot on the application tile on my iPhone that won’t go away. The “support” link on App Store doesn’t actually take me to a place where I can ask for help with these issues. Despite all that … if you’re visiting family in a facility that uses this system, yes you should download this app.

I love that I can sign in relatively quickly when coming to see my family in assisted living. This app does not permit you to alter your stored profile. The folks at the senior living facility (SLF) don’t know how to change the name associated with a mobile number.My wife helped our young child sign in at a SLF. She had to put in a phone number, so she used her phone number and the child’s name. Later, she attempted to sign herself in, but because she used her phone number to sign our child in, the badge always prints with our child’s name for both of them.There is no way to change this name.I installed the app to try to see if it would permit the profile data to be changed. It does not.How do you use the AccuShield system with people who don’t carry phones or families with young children? Think about it.

This app worked well enough until recent updates, after which it doesn’t even turn on. I click on the icon and all I get is a white screen with the Acca shield symbol. At first I thought it was a simple glitch and an update and they would quickly fix it. But then the fixed did the same thing. So I had to remove it all together. Perhaps one day they will fix it
