UPDATE TO REVIEW: I’ve been using this app for a good few months and it worked wonders at first. Now I’m used to the woman’s voice and sleep through her guided mediation. I wish more voices, moods and visualizations were added bc I’ve fallen back into old habits and sleep through the alarm. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Like other reviews, it’s annoying because you are required to write a review after one night in order to use it again. After that, you have to buy the one time $5.99 (I think) subscription. I bought it because it was a small amount and it was helpful enough the first two night. Waking up gradually has helped me immensely. Being jolted out of bed with the loudest alarm I can find didn’t work for me, as I still hit snooze. This app has truly helped me get out of bed. And getting up more peacefully and less angry at my alarm lol. I also like that I can pick different songs to wake up to, and that I have the option of how I want to feel when I’m awake (after the one-time purchase). The meditation guides me toward the feeling I chose the night before. I’d give this app 5 stars if it weren’t for the required review and small amount of time to decide if you want to buy the pro version. I think this app would have a better overall rating if they extended the trial so someone has more of a chance to use it before buying. Otherwise, I’m encouraged by how this app helps me wake up.

I was looking for an alarm that would light up, because I thought that might help me stop the cycle of snoozing my alarm 6 times every morning. I found this instead and am happy I did! I didn’t mind paying $6 for the full version (better than having to go buy a $20 smart light bulb). Also i didn’t have to write a review my first time, just give it some stars after one trial. Here’s my actual review after a week.I have been changing the settings each day to keep it “fresh”, and have enjoyed every one… and I have not slept through any of them. I like the guidance to gradually move a little, and the visualizations are nice, calming. I have actually woken up feeling genuinely awake earlier than I have in a long time! Two suggestions: 1. Bug fix: I was not able to get my own song to play, when it goes to Apple Music, it just quickly returns me back to the previous page. 2. I also like to fall asleep to calming music, and I cannot use another app while this is on. I would like to be able to have another app playing music while I fall asleep. Nice work on the app overall. I like it very much and definitely recommend to anyone. It has worked wonders for me so far!

This is a game changer! It’s such. Great way to start the day. I am one of those people that will snooze over and over and over. But with this app, I am ready to conquer the day when my music starts. The only thing I would really appreciate is being about to turn my phone on airplane mode at night. I usually turn my phone on airplane mode to give my body a break from the WiFi signals. However, if you want this app to work you need the WiFi on. I would love if this could be option!

Only used this 1 night before I was promoted to write a review, but wake up 1 was amazing! I actually woke up peacefully and stayed awake. Will definitely continue using the app for now, depending on how much is costs (it hasn’t said anything about payment yet so we’ll see).....UPDATE: Have used the app numerous times, and like others, I can definitely sleep through it if I choose to, but I would take this slower/more gentle wake up over a loud blaring one any day. And let’s face it, no app is going to MAKE us get up, that’s our own will, hah, but this app has been the most helpful for me!
