Does exactly what you need - no more and no less

If you need an app to sync with your blood sugar meter and report the results to your Kaiser Primary Care Physician — that is what this app does and really nothing more… it lets you see the numbers and lets you plead that you only ate 3 slices of that yummy pizza that caused your post-meal blood sugar to spike! It does nag you if you don’t let it talk to your meter on a regular basis… good app for looking out for me!

Diabetes Glucose Reading

The app provides the basic information one would need to share with my diabetes team that I work with at Kaiser. The one area that seems to fall short is the range. I called Kaiser to see if there is a way to change the Glucose range. Unfortunately, the range is not the same for everyone and the one on the app is completely off for my age group. For example, a reading of 180 is considered to be good. Kaiser technical help said to leave a review for the developers to see… If the app range can’t be changed at least have it be allowed to transfer the range that we have set up on our meter. This upgrade would really be helpful!!!

Bring the averages back please!

Being able to see my averages has helped tremendously in keeping my blood glucose under control. I was shocked to see that it was removed in the update.

Then on top of that another step was added to sync - why??? What was wrong with just pressing sync and have the sync occur? Instructions on how to take a glucose reading is included with the glucometer. Why make it redundant with extra steps just to sync. These were unnecessary changes. It’s stressful enough trying to manage diabetes and then have the app you use with the tool made more difficult to use.

Please roll these changes back!

Also, when clicking on App Support in the Ratings and Review section on this app in the App Store, why are we taken to Kaiser’s website (where there is no link to an email address or technical page for app support)? Why isn’t there an email address linked instead so as to be able to send issues/recommendations directly to Kaiser technical support? It’s better customer service to provide that option.
