Using the Smart Pianist app, everyone can enjoy the Piano more. The Smart Pianist is a special app that provides a variety of music-related functionality when connected to a compatible instrument. ■Features 1. Easy Voice selection and Easy settings In addition to selecting piano voices, you can use Smart Pianist to adjust parameters such as reverberation and other factors that affect the sound of the piano. 2. Backing band accompaniment that you can sing along with (CSP Series only) Enjoy accompaniment from a dynamic backing band, even when you’re playing by yourself. 3. A variety of piano lesson pieces You can play back song data such as Preset songs and commercially available songs. 4. Play your favorite songs right away with the “Audio To Score” function (CSP Series only) Smart Pianist features an ""Audio To Score"" function that automatically creates a piano accompaniment score from songs on your smart device, allowing you to enjoy playing along with your favorite tunes. 5. Play your favorite songs right away with chord progression *If you are using iPad pro 12.9 inch 3rd generation or iPad pro 11 inch, please use Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter or Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter.

Accessibility Request: Pedal Reassignment Support

Excellent app and excellent integration with Yamaha pianos.I have one accessibility request. I currently have a fractured right ankle and cannot use the right sustain pedal on my Yamaha YDP-165. It would be incredibly helpful if Smart Pianist allowed users to reassign pedal functions, such as using the left pedal as the sustain pedal.I noticed that the app already supports assigning the center pedal for page turning, which suggests that additional pedal assignment options may be possible.This feature would help not only people recovering from injuries like mine, but also musicians with disabilities or limited mobility.Thank you for creating such a wonderful app, and I hope Yamaha will consider adding pedal remapping in a future update.

Needs more classical pieces

Pretty decent app, very useful if you can’t read music that well (though you should still try to learn). It's also great for songwriting and testing various features. However, when you look at the classical pieces, you realize there aren't that many—especially since many of the ones with multiple movements only include one. It's a simple request that probably won't be addressed, but it would be nice to see more pieces added to the classical music section (and I'm not referring to the arrangement versions).

I take full advantage of the lessons coming with it. I have model P-125 and YDP164. So much fun to follow the lessons. Not boring. I can’t imagine this piano is better than my life trading and I would never sell this due to the blast on it teaching me so hard songs! This is better than ever tecnoligy

Added a new compatible model. Changed the tone played when importing PDF piano and vocal scores. The way stream lights/guide lamps indicate how to play the chords when you import PDF lead sheets now feels more natural (CSP series, CVP series, and P-S500 only). Made other minor fixes.
