Access your policy details on the move with the General Accident My account app.

This handy app ensures that you can always view important policy documentation such as your car insurance certificate and breakdown cover details and make changes, should you need them.

For customers who have just bought a new General Accident car policy it’s an easy way to upload your proof of no claims discount.

And there’s more:
- View and amend information for your car policies
- Take a photo of your proof of no claims discount and upload it to General Accident
- No need to print your policy documents as you’ll be able to access them through your phone
- Change your My account settings including your password
- Get answers to your most frequently asked questions.

Version 2.0.0

This is a major update of our app that significantly improves the user experience bringing all features of My Account into the app.

Now you can not only view information about your policies and access policy documents, and also make changes like cover level upgrades or change of vehicle.

Customers with policies that are up for renewal will be able to review and change, if required, their renewal quote.

Not much use

This app is more about selling you new products than being useful to you. Document details presented as pdf files which are impossible to read on a smart phone - a tablet or computer is required.
The GA app used to have a very helpful dashboard where the salient details of your policy, including phone numbers for claims and breakdown, were easily accessible. Not now. However if you’re looking to buy pet, home or travel insurance then this is just for you.
It’s rather comical that it’s described as a major improvement. For the sales division of GA, yes; for the customer, forget it.

The never loading app

I’ve now tried consistently for 4 days to try and get into my app to make a glass claim, it won’t load this happened the last time I needed information!
Maybe sort it out so people can contact you and look at their private information. I went through the browser to then get into GeneralAccident this time I got through but then couldn’t book my glass repair! What am I paying for exactly? Clearly a rubbish app!

Very bad app

An extremely unreliable and slow app, even when I wanted to RENEW my policy I could not even get to the payment stage because it would constantly stop and a random loading sign would pop up (of which you cannot get rid of unless you close the app and start all over again). I can’t believe an online insurance company could be have such a bad online app, abit contradictory.
