Updated comment, since receiving my new policy agreement the app is now working and looks amazing.Previous comment I can view my policy documents if I log in from the email that sent me my policy documents. But I try to use the app and it doesn’t work, I read one reply from the app developer about going online to do it and that doesn’t work either. It’s very frustrating to have to go a long winded way around to view my current policy.

Changes to my car insurance and temporary cover for a 2nd car

I tried to make a change to my main car policy to move my 9 years protected no claims from my old cars policy onto my new car policy. I also wanted to make a 3 month temporary insurance on my old car without the 9 years protected no claims, because at some point I will sell my old car. This is not easy for me via the ‘BOT’ and frankly it done my head in ! I requested to speak live on the phone with ‘ a human’, not a human on-line. Eventually I got a phone number to do this. The first attempt after 7 minutes wait was not a success, I could hear the agent but they could not hear me and hung up having informed me that they couldn’t hear me. Ok, I redialled on my landline and got through after 5 minutes. BUT having got through the agent was very good. Sorted the transfer of my 9 years protected no claims onto my new car insurance, including a nice reduction in cost back to my account. Then sorted 3 months temporary cover for my old car at a reasonable price. It’s now downloaded onto my APP sorted thanks. The lesson on this is that sometimes you need access to a human to sort these things out by conversation and listening. The BOT goes round the houses and it’s not a good experience. If I have to criticise I think the ability to speak with a person should be a more direct thing to do, rather than having to go ‘round Will’s mother’s’ before finally getting a route to a live 1 to 1 conversation with a person. But I am now happy with the outcome. Thanks Richard
