I don’t like that when setting up the target savings, you have an option to indicate if you have some of your targeted savings saved up already and how much, I believe this was intended to firstly be a consideration when calculating how much the system will withhold monthly in order for one to reach one’s target and secondly once the set up is complete the system should withhold the amount you have already saved up in addition to the current month’s portion of the target. The app fails to do both of these things. Finally there are two options for saving flexible and locked, as far as my eye could see the difference between the two options where not explained to enable the user make an informed decision

It’s so disappointing how bad & unreliable this app is if you’re running a business account. On making transfers, there are a lot of moments it doesn’t work, I have to initiate the same transfer repeatedly. On some occasions, there is an error report but the payment goes through. The worst part is that there are moments where one can’t log into their account for hours/days, so you can’t even carry out business transactions such as paying staff or suppliers on time. Not only is this app unreliable, but it’s the fact that FCMB doesn’t bother to acknowledge or email its customers to let us know that they are having a down time. I have used this app for 2 years now and it has consistently regressed. I doubt I’d continue banking with FCMB for my business, it’s been a disappointing and unsatisfying experience.

I did a transfer and it kept saying error try again later several times unknown to me those transfer were successful. i was debited but I did not receive any notification about it, i just found out that that the money in my account was debited. I waited for a long time still no debit alert until 4pm when I received multiple debit alert, i called customer care they said the transfer was successful that they can’t reverse those transactions as if, It was my fault and not from the bank itself. They said since it’s successful they can’t do anything. If they allow zero star ratings this bank does not deserve to be called competent in their work. I pity people who have an account in this bank and those planing to open an account with them it the worst bank to bank with.
