I just downloaded your this App, and was able to set up an account and send out funds almost immediately without hassle . That was a huge relief because before, I’d have to drive to the bank to get money out, as I didn’t have an ATM card or mobile app, in a bid to help me save more, in my sterling account. But my issue with the ease of it all was , in case my phone was stolen or some thing, anyone can just set up an account in my stead and have access to my funds because there wasn’t any security questions that only the account owner can answer. OTP was sent to me as sms, which any else one in possession of my phone can can easily access to and create an account. I feel that’s a huge security problem, please look into it. My suggestion: there should be a security question or pin that only account owners can answer when they download and want do transactions on the App . Because I know with my other bank, I had to go to the bank personally for them to activate the App. I know times have changed and more ease is encouraged, but security should be prioritized .

Sterling Bank is the worse bank with network issues in Nigeria. Yes other banks experience network issues but sterling is almost on a daily basis. You will send money out, it will take forever for the receiver to get the money, even when they send to your sterling account same thing, you will not get credited. There are days you will log into your sterling account and your account balance will just disappear like what I’m experiencing now. I have money in my account but I can’t access it because it has disappeared. If you are looking for a reliable bank please sterling is not in that category except you want to loose business deals and end up frustrated. I just hate this bank. This is too much, and it happens on a daily basis I’m tired of sterling and to make matter worse, the new update just made things worse. Once I get hold of my money, I’m dumping this bank for good

Customer care service of the app is not helpful. What’s d point of trying to talk to customer service and all you Kiki with her bunch of preprogrammed and unhelpful messages. She keeps repeating the same thing and nothing helpful at the end of the day. In short bah, I would say all your online customer care service platforms are not helpful and tiring. The only thing they’re good at is delivering their preprogrammed messages and nothing helpful. I’m speaking from experience cos I tried all your online customer service platforms and they’re very disappointing. I’ve gotten better customer service feedback from other bank apps and it saddening to see this app not being able to overdo/match the same service. Pls and pls you guys should work on your online customer service care across all your platforms
