FirstMobile is the official mobile banking smartphone application from FirstBank. It provides FirstBank account holders with convenient access to both financial and non-financial transactions via their mobile phones/devices.
The App is sleek and convenient to use- evident in its DIY enrolment process. New customers can simply download the app and open a FirstBank account while existing customers with Verve or Naira Mastercards can register and begin using the app without cause to visit a physical branch location. FirstMobile is poised to offer an even more reliable and definitely more convenient digital banking experience with its latest version update.

Account Statement Unavailable
So far I think the bank has done well developing this app to this stage. Transfer of money and payment of other bills have been made easy, great work on that!
However I find it very APPALLING that at this very moment you still can’t check your account statements whatsoever. If the feature of account statements is ruled out and you still have to go the “bank” to have your account statements then the efforts in making this app has been in vanity.
I hope this feature will be made available sooner than later.
My security answers aren’t working and it’s difficult to reset them due to the OTP one has to put at the bottom of the reset page. OTP works for online transactions but never gets sent for resetting security questions. Even if I forgot the security answers, it shouldn’t be so complicated to reset. Please do something about it.
Also, it’ll be much better to remove the security questions when saving beneficiaries. We should be able to save beneficiaries immediately after doing a transaction without any other security. We already use our PINS for transactions, why put security questions just to save beneficiaries? Saving or deleting beneficiaries should be straightforward or at most, with the same PIN used for transactions.
An error has occurred!
Great UI and friendly features.
Unfortunately after installation, the app worked well for a week, then it stopped working on iPhone 6plus. App was reinstalled successfully, upon imputing the card number and card pin, it returned an error message “ an error has occurred. Please try again later”. This continues up till today. I was forced to use 894 but was trusted with the daily transfer limit of N100k. I downloaded the app on note 10 plus. It worked perfectly but has a daily transfer limit of N20k.
I lost most of my transactions because of this useless app. I rushed to ATM for transfer, no way. It was all about error. I expect a better app from first bank of than this good for nothing app.
