For all the years having to communicate with clinicians for myself and now for my two kids, and others I care for, MHO has been tremendously helpful. I remember the days before MHO! Now, no more calling the doctors’ office and waiting by the phone, put on hold and the phone drops, or calling the wrong department altogether and after all that, only to talk with someone and forgot the outcome of an undocumented conversation. MHO have everything in one place, communications with your care team is quick and secure, documented, even phone encounters gets documented. Now, I can take the time to write down my non-emergency medical questions to my care team and they can decide if it’s something I need to go in person for. Records that I need for all administrative stuff e.g., kids school etc. are all accessible via MHO. I can keep track of my annual visits, review visit notes and follow-up with questions if needed, pay bills through MHO, request medication refills, scheduling appointments, etc. There’s just so much great thing about MHO that I cannot fit everything good about it in this review space!! Another note, we like to thank our care team and sends a follow-up thank you note without it that becoming an administrative burden to the care team! And I wonder if there’s a way to thank the care team via a button without bombarding them with more administrative burden; a “thank you” message that they don’t have to open by a certain deadline or ever! Giving us patients the ability to say thank you and express our gratitude to the care team is important!
