Constant have switches breaking down. They will replace with a customer service call but what a pain to always reset with automation. I had Lutron for years in my last house and never had this problem with failing switches. Plug/play option is nice but the backing takes up too much room in the box for 3 or 4 way wiring in tight spots. Rocker arms also fail on simple switches which is crazy, where is quality control who should be switching these 10,000 time which can be 10+ years of use. That should never fail!
Great app, could use a few small tweaks

Great app / great product. There are a few things that would make it better. Finding the app tile on the standard iphone grey backdrop is maddening. Something as simple as an outline in colour around the square would make it pop instead of just blend in. While it is a darker shade of grey than the folders tiles (ios). it’s close enough to make my eyes fly right past it because only things that are seldom used get put in those folders. Make it stand out! Second nit-pick is the load time of the app. I don’t even need it to be faster, it’s the fact that after the spinning “o” it loads into the home page but stays greyed out for a second before coming alive. It makes me jump the gun every time and then get irritated that I have to wait some more. Just keep it on the spinning “o” for the extra second and then launch straight into a working app that I can immediately use. Small things but both annoy me everytime I interface with the app and that adds up over time. I’m usually more likely to just go use the switch itself to avoid being irrationally mad at the technology. Just some thoughts to make a great app even better.
Easy to use and awesome features!

I have a complete deako smart package in our home and we love it!! Outdoor lights are set to go on and off at sunset and sunrise. We have the same setting on our upstairs landing but with a smart dimmer. This gives us just a little light in the hall at night when we sleep, but kicks to full power at 7 when the kids get up for school. Also have their bedroom lights scheduled to turn on when it’s time to get up…can’t say they love it, but mom and dad do! We have a scene set up to turn all of our lights off and it’s voice controlled by our Alexa in the kitchen…just say “Alexa, turn off the house lights” and they all turn off before we leave. We also have motion sensors in the laundry room and powder room, nice when your hands are full with laundry and for guests/kids that tend to leave the lights on. All in all super happy with our Deako system and the app to control it all!
Poor Customer Support

One of the Deako Smart Switches in my house stopped working. So I reached out to customer support and after receiving a canned response asking me to factory reset, which didn’t work, they stopped responding thereafter. Despite following up, still haven’t heard back for more than a week now. Opened another ticket by sending another email and they didn’t respond to it either. Well, if Deako switches go bad, looks like Deako ghost their customers. The issue remains unresolved. Would appreciate faster and more helpful support.

We are sorry factory resetting did not help. Support responds typically in one day and we never ghost. I'm sorry if a response wasn't sent so I would like to look into that more. Could you please let us know your ticket number so we can investigate further?
