I have been in recovery for a loooong time and this app has helped in so many ways just to be able to talk to my counselor and tell them things when I need to and just all of the wonderful things on this app that I can utilize to help me in so many situations. Like I will go into the bathroom at work and do a meditation and it helps me so much. AND it’s so much easier to let my counselor know what’s up on a regular basis. There’s so many audio lessons and things that have helped me with pain using meditation and awareness. It’s just great! I can’t say enough good things. I love it. OH!And you get all the cool little affirmations to collect and every time you do your check-in you get a puzzle piece that eventually makes a picture of like an album cover or a song and you get that really awesome song as a reward and it’s saved in your account and you can listen to them and let them lift you up whenever you want. I really enjoy this app and think it is going to actually help me with my sobriety journey. The way the app is structured and what they have implemented to benefit your well being in life is pretty cool. The reminders. The short lessons. Short tests. Nothing is “too much” work. you never want to make an addict feel like they have to work extra in order to get/stay clean because there is already a ton of work that comes along with it. But this app has balanced out the whole thing pretty perfectly in my opinion. It is nice being able to jot down and keep track of my daily progress in this long journey. Tons of good things I could say about CMS Recovery Connect but those are just a few good key reasons that come to mind! 10/10 recommend. Thank You CMS Recovery Connect!!

I’ve only been using this app a few months, and am currently in my 6th year of sobriety. Currently, I am utilizing it with connection to a counselor, but I’ve recommended, and have a friend who uses it without the counselor connection. I’ve found it to be very useful, and effective, as to holding myself accountable, and learning more about myself, through the varied activities provided. The daily check-ins help me to stay consistent, giving me a sense of self awareness, and accountability. The rewards that are available to collect are pretty neat also. Some are pictures, positive affirmations, puzzle pieces that add up to complete a puzzle with various pictures or sayings on them, and even music videos! There are different skills, and techniques, the app walks you through, different scenarios you can create and work out. It offers those little further steps into processing feelings, thoughts, and emotions, that helps put your mind at ease. Laying out all your feelings and thoughts, making them easier to process, and change. There’s options to track your medications, sleep habits, thoughts/emotions, triggers, peer pressure situations, if you’ve used or falling into a risky situation, dive deeper into your relationships with others, pros and cons to those relationships, how confident you are in certain situations and/or saying no, the list goes on! You don’t have disclose anything you don’t want to, and you don’t need to be connected with a counselor either! You decide what you want to work on, or use. You decide how much or how little self accountability, and awareness you delve into. It’s yours to discover yourself more, or not. Personally, this app is a huge part of my daily life. It’s gotten me through some tough times, and some really awesome times. Helped me to become more confident in approaching others in my recovery, helped my relationships, and allowed me to be more active in sobriety. I’m able to firmly and confidently stand up and speak up for myself in ways I never have before. Whoever developed this app, I truly could not thank and appreciate more! They did amazing on this one! 👏🏽

Going on almost 10 years of slow but steady mental health recovery. Started when this place was MARS (Methadone aid and recovery services). Was addicted to opioids at age 15 and spent 10 years on hard street drugs and pills. The ball and chain is all but gone but with patients come a long ways. Better Jobs, housing, credit scores, legality, and cared for by the clinic. These people are amazing and if you are on the fence just go! If I had known how easy it was to get this treatment I always say I would have done it sooner. We do change! P.S. - some of y’all have no patients and get annoyed having to wait a little bit to get your dose. Pray you find some peace because these people helping you each day don’t deserve your poor attitude. Life could be worse lighten up.
